WHAT WE OFFER:

Our program takes students from the basics of visual storytelling to advanced filmmaking techniques. Starting with shot composition, camera movement, and basic editing, students progress to learning visual effects, volumetric lighting, and sound design. By the third or fourth year, students create short films for global film festivals, utilizing their acquired skills. Each course emphasizes hands-on projects and critical viewing, blending theory with practical experience.

WHY CHOOSE US?

As the largest film program in Pinellas County and a top program in Florida, we have a strong track record in international and local film festivals. Graduates are accepted into prestigious schools or enter the industry directly. We provide access to professional-grade equipment and a fun, supportive environment where students master all aspects of filmmaking.

OUR ADVANTAGES:

Our program fosters collaboration with other departments like sound, animation, and marketing. This leads to exciting cross-department projects, such as music videos and promotional materials. Supported by the school, students also enjoy access to various on-campus locations and field trips to film on-site, offering a dynamic learning experience.
